Antonii Baryshevskyi currently studies piano with Professor V. O. Kozolov at the National Music Academy in Ukraine. Baryshevskyi has been a prize-winner at 14 national and international piano competitions, among which are the Fourth International Piano Competition Remember Enescu (Bucharest, 1999) – Fourth Prize; the First International S. Richter Piano Competition (Zhitomir, 2003) – First Prize; the Fourth International Piano Competition Performer-Composer (St. Petersburg, 2004) – First and Special Prize; the Seventh International Piano Competition In Memory of V. Horovitz (Kiev, 2005) – Second and Special EMCY “Art for music” Prize; the Second International Piano Competition (Michelstadt, 2006) – First Prize; the Fourth Isidor Bajić Piano Memorial Competition (Novi Sad, 2008) – First and Special Prizes; the 51st International Piano Competition Premio Jaen – First and Special Prizes. He was a scholarship holder and laureate of the Ukrainian programme ”Man of the Year” (2005).
Baryshevskyi has performed in concert halls as a soloist and with orchestras across Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Poland, Germany, Spain and the USA. He took part in the Euro Radio Youth Concert in Munich in 2006. He has also made recordings, in addition to radio and TV appearances for Ukrainian and Serbian Radio-Television.
