Elena Kuznetsova is an acclaimed artist of Russia and the Dean of the Piano Faculty at the Moscow State Conservatoire, where she also works as a Professor. She received the First Prize at the International Jeunesses Musicales Piano Competition in Belgrade (1972). Currently, Kuznetsova serves as a member of EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association) in Russia. She is also the Associate Editor of the magazine "Piano". Kuznetsova gives masterclasses in many Russian cities, Germany, the Republic of Korea, Italy, Spain, Greece, and Japan. Her pupils have been awarded the highest honors at international competitions in Porto, Buzoni competition in Bolzano, XXme Siecle in Orlean, Schubert Competition in Dortmund: E. Portnaja, M. Stembolskaya, A. Gamalej and others.

Both in Russia and abroad, Elena Kuznetsova continues to flourish in her concert activities. Among her many recordings are works by S. Lyapunov, N. Metner's seldomly performed pieces, new compositions of modern composers, and the solo and chamber pieces from the repertoire of classical composers.
